When Our Client Purchased This Home This Area Was a Screened In Porch
We were able to literally double the living space in this 2 bed, 1 bath condo by turning a drafty exterior porch into a sun filled living space. Doing this improved the view from the living room too.
The photos below show two different kitchens we remodeled in the same community.
Before We Started...
Screens and louvred windows in the top section of the windows enclosed this previously exterior porch.
The heavy sliders made it difficult to access this space and as you can see took up almost the entire wall - making furniture placement inside a challenge.
French Doors with side windows replaced the old sliders.
Rebuilding the walls to hold the doors and windows provided more space to place furniture - and improved the view from inside the living room
You've seen the before and after. Now here is the during.
We took the entire wall down around the sliders and rebuilt it to include French Doors and side windows as seen in the center photograph.
These Kitchens Were Taken Down to the Studs - and rebuilt
There was water damage in the walls and floors of the original kitchen. The whole thing was removed and redesigned to include a full size dishwasher and a pantry which were not there previously in the kitchen shown on the far right.
The All New Kitchen. a gas stove, a new microwave above the stove freeing up counter space. Backsplash going all the way up to the cabinets instead of being a small strip and crown moldings on the ceiling - a huge improvement.
This is another kitchen we renovated in the same community as the one to the left.. Again, we included a hood microwave and a dishwasher - not seen in this photo. The pantry is to the left. The client chose a small RV type dishwasher so she had enough room for the pantry space.
